Reviews
It is worth it! We booked and then read the reviews however, the food was well worth it! Yes, the service is slow and the price is expensive HOWEVER, you are paying for an experience. A very laid back evening, no rush to give up your table for the next diner and food of exceptional taste and quality! It is worth noting this is a two "man" run establishment, 1 chef and 1 waitress and yes as a result service is slower but credit has to be given to these two for such exceptional food quality!
I chose the tuna, not a dish I would ever usually choose and this was very tasty and the dessert, a HUGE milles fois that was divine!
This is an eating experience and one well worth it!
We had a wonderful evening at L’Auberge Flerie. We were 4 persons, and 3 of us took a 2 course menu, main and dessert, this costs 30 euros, 3 corse menu costs 38 euro (possible to choose between 2 first/main/dessert corses. You save 10-15 euros per person if you choose from the menu instead of the ‘a la carte menu.
The food was very good, the main courses we had gambas, tuna and lam.
This restaurant was very quaint and beautiful. The food was quite delicious and we found the fixed menu price to be a fairly good value. They serve standard French fare with a coastal flare. Check out the local specialty of Nicoise ravioli.
The restaurant was nice but the food was just average. Maybe because we set our expectations a bit too high and the price was higher than other restos in town
Nice decorations. Big quantity of food and it's delicious. Fish is bony.
A charming corner of Villneuve-Loubert. This little restaurant has all the elements for a long, lazy lunch. We were welcomed by our charming hostess and seated outside under a bright umbrella. We ordered the formule. I had melon and jambon for an entree and a delicious mushroom risotto for main, accompanied by a chilled rosé. Bravo!
Rude staff, refused to serve me for no reason. Was visiting the village and just wanted to have a coffee.
Arrived at midday.. Got a table for 2. Just after 15 mins it was full.. Great gazpacho and the fish was delicious. Super service. Bravo to the chef and lady who serves..
